Would you know how to manage your trash in case of an emergency?

"Life Without Trash Removal" is an audio program brought to you by the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe´s Environment Division, one of the nation´s most advanced Tribal environmental programs in the country. Life Without Trash Removal provides information that assists you in managing your solid wastes when normal trash removal services can´t be provided. Join us each week to learn the best management practices to use when regular services are not available.

Program Air date Nasty Leftovers / Planning for disasters
FIVE 8/29/2012

"This is all good, but the reality is that nasty leftovers will be there to deal with, even after using all these best management practices. Here to help us understand more about these nasty leftovers is Laura J. Weber"

"We'll conclude today's program by hearing from Ken Jock, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe's Environment Division Director, about the importance of planning for these types of disasters."

Each week we will have another program added to our series of "Life without trash removal." Thank you / Niawen for listening to the program. These programs are funded by a grant from the US EPA. Be mindful of what is in your trash and think about what you would do if there were no collection services for an extended period of time.

If you have any questions about this program or any type of solid waste management concern, please contact the SRMT at
